Uhren auf Sommerzeit umgestellt

Eine Stunde vor und zurück

Dass die Umstellung von der Winter- auf die Sommerzeit und umgekehrt nicht von jeher praktiziert wird, sondern etwa in Deutschland erst seit 1980, ist eine Tatsache, die noch immer nicht jedem der jüngeren Generationen klar vor Augen liegen dürfte. Es ist also keine in langer Tradition begründete Quasi-Unabwendbarkeit, dass am letzten März- und Oktoberwochenende jeweils in der Nacht vom Samstag auf den Sonntag an den Uhren gedreht wird, wobei sie das eine Mal, hin zur Sommerzeit, von 02.00 Uhr auf 03.00 Uhr springen, während sie das andere Mal von 02.00 Uhr an für eine Stunde ruhen. 

Zweifel an Energieersparnis durch Zeitumstellung

Zwar kommt es dabei kaum noch zu beträchtlichen Störungen bei so sensibel abgestimmten Systemen wie z. B. dem Zugverkehr, dass aber die Umstellung der Uhren auf die Sommerzeit – wie bezweckt – eine Ersparnis an Energie bedeutet, steht keineswegs außer Zweifel. Und so fordert mancher Politiker die Aufhebung der trotz allem umständlichen Zeitumstellung.

    Ja, die Umstellung von Sommer- auf Winterzeit - und umgekehrt bereitet so Manchem Schwierigkeiten, bzw. wird als lästig empfunden.

    Die Einführung von Funkuhren und Funk-Wanduhren hat da sogesehen eine große Erleichterung gebracht.
